Week of 5 July 2026

Welcome to the week's Worship Weekly

Welcome to the Worship Weekly for the week starting Sunday 5 July 2026.

Well, what a week it’s been! The Church was full to busting for the Joint Mission Community Service at Lympstone on Sunday as we welcomed our fellow worshippers from Littleham and Holy Trinity who were lucky enough to hear Revd. Heidi Budden deliver her first sermon having been priested at the Cathedral the day before. There was so much love and jubilation in the Church!

We are lucky to be blessed with Revd. Heidi in the Mission Community and in Lympstone…when you see Heidi in the village, stop, say hello, have a chat…!

The Wild About Lympstone (WAL) Roll and Stroll was a great success and the visiting ringers really gave the Church bells a proper workout too!

Wedding Dress Festival – Holy Trinity

In August there will be a Wedding Dress Festival at Holy Trinity Church in Exmouth (see attached poster).

You are invited to display your wedding dresses or outfits at this event, together with a photograph and story / details of the wedding. Setting up will be undertaken on Thursday 27 August. A posy of flowers will be provided with each display. If you would like to include your dress, or outfit, please contact Barbara Williamson by 6 July 2026.

Requests for Prayers

If you would like prayers to be said during a Sunday service and/or at the Thursday Prayer Group for a friend or relative needing prayer, please send an email to PrayersLymCh@excc.church. Alternatively, those who don’t want to email can post a message in the Prayer Requests Box at the Church entrance using the supply of cards attached to the box.  In both instances, please include your name so that we can verify the request.

If you would prefer prayers to be said privately, rather than in the services, please request the prayers to be said at the Thursday Prayer Group ONLY.   Prayers said in this meeting are confidential and will be said every Thursday while the group feels it is still necessary.  If you have any questions or feel you would like to join the group, please speak to Chris Kleinstuber, who leads the Prayer Group each Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Lady Chapel.
