Wednesday Quiet Prayer

Quiet Prayer Time is a time of silent prayer and meditation, and is open to everyone.

It is essentially 20 minutes of prayerful silence, topped and tailed with a Bible reading and a seasonal reflective passage or poem or piece of music, and ending with the Lord’s Prayer. It is simply a chance to ‘put ourselves into the hands of God’ (as Mother Teresa once said), and to rest quietly in His presence.

Quiet Prayer Time takes place in the Lady Chapel of Lympstone church from 11.30pm – 12 noon on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month.
