Safeguarding Policy

Lympstone Parish Church considers the care and protection of children, young people, vulnerable adults, and all involved in church activities or visiting the church as the responsibility of the whole church, local, diocesan and national.

Lympstone Parish Church Council has therefore set out and works to a Safeguarding Policy whilst working closely with the Mission Safeguarding officer.

The care and protection of children, young people, vulnerable adults, and all involved in church activities or visiting the church is the responsibility of the whole church.

Everyone who participates in the life of the church has a role to play in promoting a safer church for all. Our safeguarding policy is in accordance with the policies of the Church of England and the Exeter Diocese and can be downloaded here.

If you have a concern about possible abuse involving a church community member, please contact Sarah Clarke, our Safeguarding Officer: .
