Week of 31 May 2026
Welcome to the week's Worship Weekly
Welcome to the Worship Weekly for the week starting Sunday 31 May 2026.
It’s Trinity Sunday this Sunday. Trinity Sunday celebrates the doctrine of the Holy Trinity: the belief that God exists as three distinct persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—in one divine being. It is unique as the only major Christian feast day that honours a doctrine rather than a specific event.
Upcoming Sunday Services
On Sunday 31 May at 08.00 Shaun Tipton will lead the Holy Communion Service.
There will be no 09.30 Service at Lympstone. There is a Joint Mission Community Service at Holy Trinity, Exmouth, starting at 10.00.
On Sunday 7 June at 08.00 Andrew Minter will lead the Morning Prayer Service.
At 09.30 Heidi Budden will lead the Journey Service at Lympstone; the subject of this Journey Service is ‘A Called Community’ after the text of Psalm 139.

The Bible Course
Explore God’s big story one step at a time with The Bible Course with materials provided by The Bible Society. It’s an eight-session course that uses a visual storyline helping us understand the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible’s stories, characters and themes are highlighted and explained to show how they fit together and apply to our lives.
There is an attractive course manual to go alongside the eight videos which form the centre piece of each session. Each session should last 90 minutes with plenty of time for discussion.
Please contact Richard Scott (rosandrichard@btinternet.com 07753 881517) if you are interested in joining him on this course by 1st June. He will then contact you to find mutually convenient venue, times and dates. Thank you.

Requests for Prayers to be said – A message from Chris Kleinstuber
If you would like prayers to be said during a Sunday service and/or at the Thursday Prayer Group for a friend or relative needing prayer, please send an email to PrayersLymCh@excc.church. Alternatively, those who don’t want to email can post a message in the Prayer Requests Box at the Church entrance using the supply of cards attached to the box. In both instances, please include your name so that we can verify the request.
If you would prefer prayers to be said privately, rather than in the services, please request the prayers to be said at the Thursday Prayer Group ONLY. Prayers said in this meeting are confidential and will be said every Thursday while the group feels it is still necessary. If you have any questions or feel you would like to join the group, please speak to Chris Kleinstuber, who leads the Prayer Group each Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Lady Chapel.
