Church Survey on Service Times

The survey is to gauge appetite for changing the main Sunday morning 9.30 a.m. service to 10.00 a.m..

Lympstone Church Buildings Officer (Volunteer Role)
We are still in need of a Church Buildings Officer to safeguard the fabric of the Church in Lympstone, including organizing various trades to service boiler, clear gutters, etc.
This is a Volunteer role. There is no requirement to do any of the work yourself and we have a comprehensive list of contractors. There is sometimes a need to meet a contractor on site at a mutually convenient time. If you are in full-time work this could be delegated.
You do not need to be a regular worshipper – our church is for everyone!
The retiring holder of this post would be happy to mentor you initially.

Saturday 26 September 2026, 18.30 @ Lympstone Church– Friends of Lympstone Church Fundraising concert with the famous LYMPSTONE ACADEMY BRASS
Friends of Lympstone Church (FoLC) present one of their very successful fund-raising evenings at Lympstone Church, where you will enjoy a concert by Lympstone Academy Brass, Lympstone’s own award-winning band. Doors open at 18.30 and there is a licensed bar.
Tickets are £8 (under 16s go free!) and can be purchased from Demelza Henderson (2 Brookside Cottages/ 01395 272243) or they can be purchased on the door too.

At 09.30 Revd. Heidi Budden will lead the Holy Communion service.
On Sunday 4 October at 08.00 Andrew Minter will lead the Quiet Prayer service.
At 09.30 Revd. Heidi Budden will lead the Journey service. This is also the Harvest Service.

Requests for Prayers
If you would like prayers to be said during a Sunday service and/or at the Thursday Prayer Group for a friend or relative needing prayer, please send an email to PrayersLymCh@excc.church. Alternatively, those who don’t want to email can post a message in the Prayer Requests Box at the Church entrance using the supply of cards attached to the box. In both instances, please include your name so that we can verify the request.
If you would prefer prayers to be said privately, rather than in the services, please request the prayers to be said at the Thursday Prayer Group ONLY. Prayers said in this meeting are confidential and will be said every Thursday while the group feels it is still necessary. If you have any questions or feel you would like to join the group, please speak to Chris Kleinstuber, who leads the Prayer Group each Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Lady Chapel.
