<p>Richard Scott and Peter Watsham are leading the Lent Course for the wider Mission Community this Lent.</p>

<title>Lympstone Environmental Action Day - Saturday 17 May</title>

<description><![CDATA[<p>Lympstone's Environmental Action Day is taking place on Saturday 17 May 2025 between 11am and 3pm in the church and on Front Meadow opposite.</p>
<p>Wild About Lympstone (WAL)&nbsp;is working together with a number of village groups to offer a range of fun and interesting displays and activities focused on protecting and enhancing our local environment for nature, health and wellbeing:</p>
<h3><strong>1000 Plant Giveaway</strong></h3>
<p>- organised by Heathfield Allotment Trust and back by popular demand.</p>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">Displays and activities t o explore:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Devon Wildlife Trust gardening for wildlife; giving away Wildlife Garden Awards!</li>
<li>Lympstone Water Quality Group, Water Guardians and partners, updating you on their work to protect our beautiful Wotton Brook and Exe Estuary.</li>
<li>Hands on water quality testing in the Brook.</li>
<li>Chat to our school children about their inspiring work around nature.</li>
<li>Fun bird facts and activities with Brian (RSPB).</li>
<li>Swift tours up t h e church tower. Find out about the Devon Swift Project and sign up to be a swift monitor.</li>
<li>Play the Ecogame and discover how we can all reduce our carbon footprint.</li>
<li>A hands-on biodiversity survey.</li>
<li>Beautiful nature-based art activities.</li>
<li>Recharging and connecting with nature on our wellbeing village walk.</li>
<li>Contribute to Lympstone's vision a s a place where nature and people thrive.</li>
<li>Place a bid in our silent auction for Louise Banks' original artwork of the Lympstone Wildlife map.</li>
</ul>
<p>Teas and coffees available in the Parish Church.</p>
<p>We are supported by Devon Wildlife Trust as part of their Wilder Communities Initiative.</p>]]></description>
