We are pleased to be able to support these charities either by means of regular income donated by members of the church or by means of special events. Charitable giving has been part of the Church’s worldwide history from its very earliest days. The Bible tells us that “God loves a cheerful giver” and it is indeed a joy to be able to support those in need. If you would like to join in with this, your giving can be monetary through your bank or directly in services.

Or, if you are able to give time, volunteering for local charities or for fundraising events put on by the church, is a wonderful way to contribute.

It is unusually well produced – a glossy A4 magazine of some twenty pages with colour photographs. But more importantly, it contains not only information about upcoming services, events and appointments, but also articles of many different kinds – historical, literary, topical and missional, to name a few.

Recent local church events are reported upon and local businesses advertise in its pages.

The Rector or Vicar usually writes the first article in which they share their current thinking with the Christian community.

Our parish church relies on the generosity of its congregation and others, in one-off donations, in regular giving and by bequests.

We are kindly supported by Friends of Lympstone Church who raise funds and donate for the maintenance of the fabric of the church.

It is possible to donate either by cash, card machine (in church) or by electronic means.
